Is it possible that?

Atheists - do you realize you operate in world system of thought (limited to what this world knows), a limited paradigm, rather than a whole and limitless paradigm of thought and life?
There is greater thinking that what we can see and know in this world alone.. and what the world knows seems to be the premise that Atheists adhere to…manifested in “prove it to me” or all things must be limited to what I can know or understand statements.
Are you open to the possibility that we are not the possessors of all knowledge… that there are things greater than us that we don’t and cannot grasp?
It seems while professing to be in mastery of knowledge it is quite limiting to think like that… and it may be due to being comfortable and somehow “non-conformist”, and also then not having to say something is greater than us.
Is is possible it is a disconnect due to our limits?
Accepting possibilities means including God - Atheists say there is no God.
Catherine E - how much does that have to do wth being comfortable? How much do you want to know it or be open to it? Thanks for your answer.
Patriot - then "intelligence" becomes your God… the most important thing. It is not arrogant if it is true. I do not know everything… but God does.
Emily…THANKS!! I wasn't going to watch it but am so glad I did.
That's great, I will pass it along.

Blessings.

If you believe in all those limitless things. all you have to do is show them to us.

Try not to be so open-minded that your brain falls out. Accepting possilblities is fine, but believing everything people tell you, makes you gullible.

There is no atheist I have met who thinks that we humans know everything there is to know. The difference between us and theists is that we don’t automatically make the leap from “I don’t know everything,” to “My invisible daddy figure did it.” That is all.

I have no problem accepting any and all possibilities.
But actively *believing* in something requires evidence for that specific somethings existence.
I’m not going to go and just believe in anything and everything the imagination can come up with and beyond simply because there *might* be a possibility that it could exist.
(And I’m *certainly* not going to devote my life to that thing and worship it.)

Atheists are the ones who ARE aware that we don't know everything. It's the religious people who claim infinite knowledge, not the atheists.

You have this EXACTLY backwards, obviously because your arrogance - like that of so many believers - has gotten the better of you. When you're able to admit that you don't know everything, you'll see why we atheists take the intellectually honest and humble stance that we take.

"Patriot - then "intelligence" becomes your God… "

Bull. Doesn't the fact that you have to make up silly lies to defend your belief system tell you something about the quality of that belief system? It should.

I have never heard an atheist say they knew everything. I have heard some Christians say so, though.
